Trump has fallen out with his ally, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Golden Finance reports that Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, is a key ally of President Trump in the “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) camp. However, the two have recently become adversaries. Trump has launched a series of verbal attacks against her, while Greene took to social media on the 15th to condemn Trump's “incitement and encouragement” that has put her in personal danger. Greene is one of the few Republican lawmakers supporting the release of documents related to the Epstein case. During his 2024 presidential campaign, Trump promised to release files on the Epstein case upon taking office. However, when the first batch of documents was released at the end of February this year, there was no explosive new information. According to the Associated Press, the relationship between Greene and Trump has been tense for some time: after Trump took office, Greene expressed interest in running for a Senate seat in the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, to which Trump responded that she had “no chance”; in June of this year, Trump ordered airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, provoking discontent from the MAGA camp, and Greene also criticized this action; Greene further accused the Trump administration of failing to address soaring domestic prices.
