Michael Saylor, co-founder and chairman of Strategy, pays tribute to Satoshi Nakamoto on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the release of the Bitcoin white paper (31/10/2008). This 9-page document laid the foundation for the concept of peer-to-peer value transactions without the need for an intermediary – a revolutionary idea. Strategy posted on X: “17 years ago, Satoshi Nakamoto ignited the flame in cyberspace. Happy Bitcoin Whitepaper Day,” and Saylor shared it back with the message “Thank you, Satoshi.”

This anniversary coincides with Strategy's announcement of its Q3 2025 financial results. The company currently holds 640,808 BTC, raising 20 billion USD in the year, achieving a profit of 13 billion USD from Bitcoin with a profit margin of 26%. Strategy maintains its net profit target of 24 billion USD and expects the price of BTC to reach 150,000 USD by the end of the year.
