Abstract generation in progress

Recently, scam methods on Binance P2P are rising to the sky and becoming more sophisticated than ever. If you are trading P2P, please read the following warnings carefully to protect yourself:

  1. Fake Payment Scam / Bank Refund (Payment Reversal) The scammer uses a hacked bank account or a third-party account to transfer money to you. You see the money in the account and hurriedly release crypto. Then, the real account holder complains and the bank refunds the money. 👉 Consequences: Loss of crypto, bank account at risk of being frozen for investigation. 💡 Advice: Always check if the name of the sender matches the name on the Binance order. If it is different, do not release the coin under any circumstances.
  2. Scam Screenshot / Fake Message (Fake Receipt/SMS) The buyer sends a screenshot or a fake SMS message proving that they have transferred money. Many gullible people trust and release crypto without checking the actual account. 💡 Advice: Only trust the actual balance in your bank account. Do not trust screenshots or messages.
  3. Cancel Order Trap ( The scammer pretends to encounter a technical issue and asks you to cancel the order. When you cancel, the transaction will no longer be protected by Binance. At this point, they can take advantage to seize your assets. 💡 Advice: Only cancel the order when you are sure you have not received or sent any amount.
  4. Triangle Scam ) Scammers use a third-party account to transfer money to you. When the real account owner discovers and complains, you become the subject of an investigation for receiving illegal funds. 💡 Advice: Make sure the sender's name matches their Binance account name. If not, do not release crypto under any circumstances. Advice for the Community Only release crypto after verifying the funds in the account. Do not trust screenshots or SMS messages. Prioritize trading with users who have a good history and are highly rated. Always stay calm, do not rush when trading. Report immediately to Binance if you detect suspicious behavior. A safe community is the responsibility of all of us. If you have ever encountered a new scam, please share it so that everyone can be vigilant!
