A man from Tennessee, USA, is suspected of stealing XRP, Ethereum, and SHIB from the widow of singer George Jones.
Techub News reports that according to Decrypt, country music singer George Jones' widow, Nancy Jones, has accused Tennessee man Kirk West of stealing her assets worth 17 million USD in XRP, as well as Ethereum and SHIB. Nancy Jones claims that Kirk West "seduced" her in the months following her husband's death in 2013, using methods consistent with his alleged targeting of "wealthy and potentially vulnerable women." Nancy Jones has now hired blockchain analyst Paul Sibenik to assist in recovering the assets, but some XRP, ETH, and SHIB have yet to be recovered. Kirk West has been detained with a bail set at 1 million USD, and a criminal hearing is scheduled for October 23.
