Reef will hold an AMA in X on 19 February

Reef will hold an AMA session on X February 19 at 15:00 UTC. The Reef team, together with VIA Labs and MotoDEX, will discuss the development plan and launch of the bridge and the MotoDEX blockchain game on Reef Chain.

Information about REEF

Reef is a first-level blockchain built on Parity's Substrate technology. Launched in 2019 by Denko Mancheski, it was initially designed as a platform for decentralized financial services (DeFi), but then evolved into a full-fledged blockchain network.

To validate the validity of transaction blocks, the Reef network uses the Nominated Proof of Stake (NPoS) protocol. Validators and nominators who stake their REEF tokens work together to create and confirm new blocks. After successfully validating a block, the reward is distributed among the validator and nominators. The entire network and its upgrades are overseen by a technical council selected through the Proof of Commitment (PoC) consensus mechanism.

The native token of the REEF network is used to manage the network and pay transaction fees.
