Within three weeks after Trump launched memes, more than 700 unauthorized tokens were sent to his Wallet.
Odaily Planet Daily According to reports, within three weeks after Trump launched Meme Coin, more than 700 unauthorized cryptocurrencies have been sent to his digital wallet. Within 30 minutes of Trump's first announcement of token issuance, the number of tokens began to surge, as creators took advantage of Solana blockchain functionality to allow unrequested deposits to enter other Wallets. Hundreds of tokens use names associated with Trump or his family, including "OFFICIAL TRUMP" and "OFFICIAL MELANIA," despite having no actual connection to Trump. Analysis has found that there are 167 tokens themed around the Trump family, with 67 using the term 'official' in their names. Unauthorized tokens also target Trump's children: 30 mention Barron, 26 mention Ivanka, and 10 mention Eric. In addition, 35 tokens attempt to associate with Trump's ally, Tesla's CEO Musk. Brookings Institution senior fellow Eswar Prasad said that Trump's involvement in MEME coins "opened the floodgates to deception and rampant speculation," exposing ordinary investors to enormous risks.
