Odaily Star Daily News BTC mining company CleanSpark has closed its 365MW facility in Georgia due to Hurricane Helen. Currently, about 200MW of power has been restored, and it is expected to be fully restored by October 4th. CleanSpark stated that it has evaluated all other sites and has not found any significant damage to site infrastructure, nor any significant losses related to mining servers. The company also added that within 24 hours after the recovery, it was able to restore its Computing Power to above 17.5 EH/s. Currently, the Computing Power is about 22 EH/s, and it is expected to reach about 28 EH/s after the site is fully powered on. In recent months, CleanSpark has acquired several small Mining Farms in five states. Its goal is to reach 37 EH/s by the end of 2024 and 50 EH/s by 2025. The hurricane has killed 128 people and left more than 2 million people without power. CleanSpark expresses condolences to the affected communities. (The Block)
