Deutsche Bank: Short-term government bonds in the eurozone are expected to remain strong

Jinshi data, September 25th news, Michael Lester, head of Intrerest Rate strategy at the research department of the German commercial bank, said in a report that short-term government bonds in the euro area are expected to remain strong, as weak economic data have intensified expectations for the European Central Bank to accelerate interest rate cuts. He said, "Bad data continue to drive expectations of easing by the European Central Bank, and officials' unwillingness to resist the latest market trends also supports this expectation."
