Oriental Overseas International: Total revenue increased by 2.2% year-on-year in the first half of the year.

Jinshi Data news on July 15th, Dongfang Overseas International (00316.HK) announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on July 15th that the total revenue for the second quarter ending June 30, 2024 increased by 14.4% compared to the same period last year, reaching 2.265 billion US dollars. The total cargo volume rose by 0.9%, while the carrying capacity decreased by 3.4%. The overall load factor rose by 3.6% compared to the same period in 2023, and the overall average revenue per standard container increased by 13.4% compared to the second quarter of last year. The total revenue and total cargo volume for the first six months ending June 30, 2024 increased by 2.2% and 2.1% respectively compared to the same period last year. The carrying capacity decreased by 0.7%, the overall load factor rose by 2.3% compared to the same period in 2023, and the overall average revenue per standard container remained roughly the same as last year.
