Jin10 data reported on October 17, the American CBS reported on October 16 local time that according to a spokesperson for the U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command and an American official, on October 15 local time, the U.S. military sent 3 B-52 bombers to “carry out a mission” near the coast of Venezuela. The report states that this is one of the measures taken by the Trump administration to continuously pressure the Venezuelan President Maduro's government. Flight tracking website Flightradar24 shows that these bombers circled over the Caribbean Sea that day, flying in an area about 150 miles (approximately 241 kilometers) from Venezuela. The B-52 is a long-range bomber capable of carrying conventional or nuclear weapons.
