Two accounts under Abraxas Capital suffered losses exceeding 100 million USD due to shorting Crypto Assets.

PANews September 3 news, according to monitoring by Arkham, two accounts under Abraxas Capital have shorted over $919.9 million worth of Crypto Assets on the Hyperliquid platform, including BTC, ETH, HYPE, and WLFI. Currently, these two accounts have incurred losses exceeding $106.6 million. The Close Position prices for Bitcoin for these two accounts are $151,530 and $149,910 respectively. Note: Entities under Abraxas Capital also hold over $2.49 billion in BTC and $486 million in ETH, with a positive delta on these positions (i.e., net long rather than net short). They may be mining funding rates on Hyperliquid. They might also hold other positions on Binance or CEX, but these positions cannot be viewed on-chain.
