The candidate of the Democratic Party, Lee Jae-myung, won the 21st presidential elections held in South Korea.
Lee had previously suggested establishing a stablecoin market in Korean won, aiming to prevent the outflow of national wealth abroad.
After the election victory, Lee Jae-myung said, "I respect the great decision of our people... I will do my best not to disappoint expectations."
