According to ChainCatcher news and TN Argentina news website, a Russian couple operating a Crypto Assets business was released after being kidnapped in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires. According to reports, the victim was kidnapped during a dinner invitation by two Chechen men to an apartment located at 1596 Ravignani Street. The woman’s cries for help attracted the attention of nearby restaurant staff, and the police later found the couple bound. The suspect has fled to the UAE and is currently on a red notice issued by Interpol. The victim paid a ransom of $43,000 in digital currency through a friend. The case is under investigation by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Argentine Federal Police and Judge María Romilda Servini.
