14 people in Punjab, India died after consuming counterfeit liquor.
Jin10 reported on May 13 that on the 13th local time, officials in the Amritsar district of Punjab, India, stated that recently, at least 14 people in five villages of the area have died from drinking fake alcohol, and several others have been hospitalized due to complications from drinking the fake alcohol. Five suspects involved in the fake alcohol case have been arrested. Police from the area have arrived on the scene for investigation.
