Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 13, according to the official blog of Ondo Finance, Ondo Finance recently submitted a no-action request to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), seeking confirmation from the SEC that it will not take enforcement action against its model of recording and managing specific securities interests in tokenized form on the Ethereum mainnet.
The request pertains to its Ondo Global Markets (OGM) product, which is now a tokenized note product offering U.S. stock and ETF exposure to non-U.S. investors. According to this model, the underlying securities remain within the existing legal, custodial, and record-keeping frameworks, with official ledgers and records unchanged, and only in limited circumstances are related securities interests mapped to the Ethereum mainnet in a tokenized form, held by the custodian BitGo, to support record-keeping and operational processes.
