People’s Financial News, April 8th, said that on April 8th, Salt Lake Co., Ltd. stated on the interactive platform that the company is actively revitalizing the existing assets of the potassium nitrate plant of Qinghai Salt Lake Nitrate Industry.
It has established Qinghai Salt Lake Wojin Heat Storage Technology Co., Ltd. through a subsidiary, Qinghai Salt Lake Investment, which holds shares.
The focus is on promoting the deep integration of energy storage and the chemical industry, and on the research and development of molten salt heat storage technology, the upgrading of equipment, and the production, sales of related products.
Among them, the 400,000-ton molten salt project of Salt Lake Wojin (including a 200,000-ton sodium nitrate plant and a 200,000-ton neutralization method potassium nitrate plant) has completed technical transformation and is currently in the production increase operation stage.
The company holds a 40% stake through Salt Lake Investment, and at this stage, the project’s overall contribution to operations is limited.
