PANews February 17th news, Merlin Chain announced that to celebrate the upcoming PoS network upgrade, the second phase of its Prestage stake activity will officially start today at 14:00 GMT. The current stake limit has been increased to 20 million MERL, with an annualized yield of up to 50%. It is worth mentioning that after the PoS mainnet upgrade, it will support the stake and governance participation of BTC/MBTC. In the previous stage of the stake activity, the first phase of 10 million MERL tokens were fully locked in just 26 minutes, during which the net outflow of MERL from CEX exceeded 17 million, fully demonstrating the strong participation enthusiasm of users. In addition, the PoS upgrade will further expand the number of network validators, which will be beneficial for further enhancing the decentralization and security of Merlin Chain.
