EigenLayer collaborates with Cartesi to explore innovative use cases such as Decentralized Finance and AI
Odaily Planet Daily News In January 2025, EigenLayer and Cartesi announced a partnership aimed at creating the next generation of Decentralization applications (dApps) for mainstream users. This collaboration will combine EigenLayer's stakeprotocol and Cartesi's Linux-based co-processor technology to provide powerful technical support for developers, driving Web3 innovation and the popularization of end-user applications. This collaboration is particularly aimed at AI, DeFi, gaming, and social networking, encouraging developers to build complex on-chain applications on the blockchain by reusing existing Web2 software libraries and tools. To this end, the two parties will hold the third 'Experiment Week' internal hackathon from February 10th to 17th, 2025, to inspire the creativity of core developers, build innovative dApp prototypes, and explore new use cases. Cartesi co-founder Felipe Argento said, "In the first two Cartesi Labs, we witnessed many amazing projects. This collaboration with EigenLayer makes me look forward to the future results." EigenLayer's Developer Advocate, Nader Dabit, also noted that "Cartesi's Linux-driven Rollup technology allows developers to build complex on-chain applications using familiar tools. This event will showcase Cartesi's potential in Web3." Through this collaboration, developers can not only leverage the security and scalability advantages brought by EigenLayer's stakeprotocol, but also rely on Cartesi coprocessor to achieve full compatibility with the mainstream software industry.
