Vitalik donated 50 ETH to Defend Roman Storm
According to on-chain information, Vitalik has just donated 50 ETH to Defend Roman Storm through Juice Box. It is reported that the funds raised by the project will be used to support the legal defense fund of Roman Storm, the developer of Tornado Cash. In August last year, Roman Storm, co-founder of Tornado Cash, was arrested by the FBI and the IRS for conspiring to commit money laundering, conspiring to operate an unlicensed money transfer business, and conspiring to violate sanctions. Earlier tonight, Vitalik donated another 50 ETH to Alexey Pertsev, another co-founder of Tornado Cash, through Juice Box.
