NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang always delivers grand keynote speeches, announcing new products and partnerships to showcase the company’s vision. In his recent announcement, he briefly mentioned the “NVIDIA Agent Toolkit,” but it’s more than just a simple set of tools.

The toolkit consists of a series of open-source tools designed to enhance AI agent capabilities. This release continues the strategic success reflected by past CUDA software. In 2006, CUDA transformed GPUs into the core of AI, giving NVIDIA a competitive advantage.

Today, the “Agent Toolkit” aims to establish dominance at a higher level and emphasizes its fundamental role as computing infrastructure. NVIDIA doesn’t want to own intelligence itself but the underlying infrastructure for each AI agent. This move includes a strategy that goes beyond ownership of specific models, aiming to become a universal platform for use.

NVIDIA’s strategic initiative is expected to be further strengthened through enterprise alliances. Major software companies like Salesforce and ServiceNow are choosing this platform to enhance their operating systems. Therefore, NVIDIA’s latest announcement is not just about products but about redefining AI infrastructure to gain a competitive edge and widen the gap with rivals.
