On December 12th, the CEX Wallet team released a security announcement confirming that the ZEROBASE platform front end was hacked, leading to users being tricked into authorizing malicious contracts. To ensure the safety of user assets, CEX Wallet has taken three emergency measures: blocking suspected malicious website domains, blacklisting related malicious contracts, and promising to send alerts to potentially affected users within 30 minutes. Previously, ZEROBASE issued an announcement stating that phishing contracts appeared on BNB Chain, impersonating their official interface to trick users into granting USDT permissions. CEX strongly recommends users immediately open their wallet app, check the authorization options on the assets page, and revoke any suspicious permissions to prevent asset loss.
