According to a Deep Tide TechFlow report on May 10, Cointelegraph reported that the controversial site 4chan has resumed operations after being hacked on April 14. The /Biz/ zone of the forum has always been an important gathering place for the Crypto Assets community and has had a significant impact on the market.
4chan's most notable influences in the encryption field include driving the large-scale rise of Chainlink (LINK), which increased from $1.80 at the beginning of 2020 to a historical high of $49.54 in 2021. Additionally, after the Pepe the Frog (Pepe) meme became popular on the platform, the market capitalization of the related token PEPE soared from $591 million at the beginning of 2024 to $11 billion.
