The CKB Eco Fund successfully co-hosted the Hong Kong Web3 Carnival Bitcoin Stage today and launched the new Rock Web5 initiative.
According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on April 7, 2025, the co-organizer CKB Eco Fund successfully held the themed forum "The Light of Bitcoin: The Eternal Legend of Digital Gold" in collaboration with the event organizers at the Hong Kong Web3 Carnival. This is the only official forum during the Hong Kong Web3 Carnival that focuses on Bitcoin, gathering more than 20 leading institutions in the Bitcoin ecosystem, including Nervos Foundation, Lightning Labs, Bitmain, and the Stacks Foundation, to discuss the technical pathways and application prospects of Digital Gold 2.0 from technical protocols, financial infrastructure to cultural consensus.
During this period, CKB launched the new Rock Web5 initiative. The Rock Web5 initiative will promote globalization by organizing activities such as hackathons, integrating technology with the industrial characteristics and cultural backgrounds of different regions offline.
At the same time, Fubo and Guoren Xiangjian showcased their relevant development plans, while projects like SeeDAO, Nervape, Rivtower, and HKbitEX jointly explored the trends in Web5 applications and investments.
Additionally, during the conference, the CKB Fiber Network released version 0.5, providing a foundation for subsequent compatibility upgrades and marking solid progress in the development vision of CKB Web5.
