Following the completion of this transaction, Buenbit’s total cumulative funding reached $11 million.Buenbit is a cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in Argentina, with operations in Mexico and Peru. The platform is committed to providing users with convenient digital asset trading services. Through this acquisition, Buenbit users will be able to use MakerDAO’s stablecoin DAI as collateral to borrow nuARS, a stablecoin pegged to the Argentine peso. This initiative will help expand the platform’s service footprint across Latin America, offering local users a broader range of financial products and solutions.Previously, Buenbit completed a Series A funding round on July 13, 2021, raising $11 million.
