According to industry sources, GLIF completed a $4.5 million Seed funding round on February 6, 2024. The round was backed by Multicoin Capital, Zee Prime Capital, Protocol Labs, Fenbushi Capital, FinTech Collective, Big Brain Holdings, Dialectic, and Mana. Following this transaction, GLIF’s total funding has reached $4.5 million.GLIF is a project focused on building the Filecoin network ecosystem and has been developing critical applications and tools for Filecoin since before its mainnet launch. The team created the first Filecoin wallet and a multisignature wallet for Filecoin SAFT ICO distribution. GLIF also introduced the first Filecoin notarization service, operates public and private Filecoin nodes for DApp developers on the network, and has received multi-million dollar grants from Protocol Labs and the Filecoin Foundation.Currently, GLIF is developing GLIF Pools, a major DeFi protocol within the Filecoin ecosystem. As demand for decentralized storage grows, GLIF’s solutions are expected to drive further financial innovation and expand use cases on the Filecoin network, potentially accelerating ecosystem growth and prosperity. This funding round will enable GLIF to further expand its team, accelerate product development, and enhance its market share.
